Pane Cunzato Pizza & More

We had a good dinner at this nice Italian spot with mostly Sicilian fare. The place has like 8 tables or such so if you are a bigger group things could get difficult if you haven't booked ahead. The place has a colourful Mediterranean vibe to it with the plates, jugs and tables. The food was good especially the pizza that was really mind blowing. The bread was crisp with the right amount of cheese on top. The spicy nduja meat on it keeping giving pleasant heterogeneous surprises as we bite different slices of the pizza. The truffle pasta was good but had a lingering slightly bitter after taste that I assume came from the truffle oil. The charcuterie appetizer was above average and weirdly we didn't get any olive oil to go with the bread that can with the board. A gripe I had with the place is that the water jug that they gave was chipped at the spout. The risk of such jugs are the ceramic fragments could end up in the water. Nonetheless the great pizzas and the great price point makes this restaurant a good visit.

Service was great, prices were were a little high for the quality and amount of food and the food was just okay. We ordered the margarita pizza, lasagne, bruscetta, and caprese salad. The margarita pizza came out as basically just a cheese pizza and when we asked our waiter didn't seem to understand the issue. The lasagne was good, definitely fresh made but the sauce on both the lasagne and the pizza seemed a bit flavorless. The bruscetta and caprese salad were both with super fresh yummy tomatoes, but still not exactly what we were expecting
