Patatas fritas abundantes y riquísimas, con aliño de romero. Hamburguesas en su punto y sabrosas. Precios contenidos para la media de Londres. Personal amable y bilingüe (Inglés-Español). Todo genial. ¿Y entonces, por qué no le pongo 5 estrellas? Muy sencillo. Porque a mí nadie me puede obligar a pagar propina sin que me lo pregunten. Y aquí te meten un 10% porque sí. Por lo tanto… una estrella que pierden por eso. Edit answering to the owner: I’ve been travelling to London 3 times per year lately. Two days ago i had lunch in a British Pub (Anchors) with 3 friends. We did not have to pay any “Service charge”. Neither we had to do it the day before in Vappiano or Nando’s. And yes, I am usually informed about the things you have mentioned and the common practices in the different countries I visit, and I had read before that “some” restaurants in London are implementing a “forced” gratuitiy about 10 to 12.5 %. But no… it’s not something everybody does. So it’s simple, i’ll keep going to those restaurants that allow me to choose the gratuity I like to give. Because… i might want to leave more … or nothing. Everything depends on the service I receive, but the one, and only one who is going to “put that value in money”, is going to be me, not the restaurant.
