Afternoon Tea At The Montague On The Gardens

Little spot we found inside a hotel that was quaint and chic with an older style. Lovely people and atmosphere inside. We sat on the covered terrace that is actually indoors but all windows. The teas and treats were great and well worth the price. Great customer service. Very clean bathrooms. We went at 1:00 and it wasn’t crowded. It felt like we were in a private session. They also took us in early.

Went for afternoon tea in April 2023. It was my wife's first time doing afternoon tea, and this place probably has spoiled her forever on it. Nice quiet garden room atmosphere, robust selection of teas (all of the ones I tried were amazing), and a nice assortment of bites to eat. Service was amazing.

I loved our visit here for afternoon tea. I booked a table for my missus and I for her birthday and was looking for a good spot near the dominion theatre that was close enough to walk. The staff were very welcoming and in my opinion, treated us like royalty. We felt important from the moment we arrived. We were seated in the lobby which was decorated tastefully vintage and then shown to our table in a segregated area of the tearooms. The fresh earl grey tea for a start was the best we've ever tasted and we're considering buying a tea infuser and the leaves they used to replicate at home. Food was served in regular intervals and was very tasteful. Didn't know a cucumber sandwich could be so tasty. The selection of these and cakes was the great. Lots to try. We thought we'd be hungry afterwards, but we had to take some home in a box. The vibe was relaxed, we could see the gardens through the window behind us we had an all round pleasant afternoon. Went for the afternoon tea on the gorgeous outdoor terrace. Very friendly staff and the service was amazing. The food was satisfactory. There was a good selection of tea to choose from. In general, great experience, a little pricy, but would recommend if you prefer a chill and quieter place for afternoon tea.

This afternoon tea concept is good. There atmosphere is very good price is 20/49 many options and choices Nice ambiance, good decore. Their presentation is also good. Vegan options available. But we went their, we took a tea and everything. General they refill sandwiches, and they bring also it was complementary and they put on table, and other lady comes and she took everything back. That was insulting. So be careful and firstly confirmed everything and then ordered So disappointed with some of themselves behavior.
