The oldest restaurant in London. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent food and if you are lucky you have the Hungarian lady for your service…which makes everything perfect.

The vibe, staff, and atmosphere are great. The food is tricky to select a good one. I got a stake and kidney pie. It was like a smoked brisket you may have in Texas. However, it was not smoked. It had some mushrooms and kidney slices. It was delicious.

Love the corridors filled with the restaurants history and the decor of old English. London's oldest restaurant and still going strong .

Had a wonderful lunch here and had the Chicken Pie with a side of mash and also the Rules cocktail, maybe the best pie I've had in London. Service and attention was amazing, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a spoil yourself outing.

The staff are so nice. Highly recommend arriving early to your reservation to get some drinks in the conversatory. Wouldn't recommend the sticky toffee pudding (it wasn't mad but for a one time expensive meal I'd say go for something else). Overall, well worth a meal there

Sat down at 16.00 hrs as had a show booked for 19.30. I had the place, and it was amazing. The wife had the scallops, and again, fantastic the staff were there when needed think we might have to go back and work our way through the menu,many thanks to all at Rules.

Simply the best London can offer. Staff are ever so accommodating and professional. Never be afraid this place is too fancy, the staff will put you at ease. And yes, you step back in time, in a sumptuous setting. I choose something different to eat each visit and have always been delighted. Oh! Also, the cocktail bar upstairs is a very nice way to begin your sitting. You are never rushed, but I wish time would slow upon entry. Somewhere I'd really recommend as a must visit! And the bill is comparatively reasonably priced, if you keep to one bottle of wine :)

Very yummy! Caesar took care of us and was a delight. They were very accommodating with my husband's food allergies. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you are from the US!

It truly is an enchanting English experience. The staff were friendly, food was served in the perfect timing, prepared with great ingredients making it heavenly! I could definitely feel like this is the oldest restaurant in London through the ambience.
