The guys who work here have been here for decades and it shows. The first time I came here they recommended the cod and chips and I certainly was pleased with my meal. I have since been here multiple times and their food is consistently delicious!

We chose this restaurant weeks ago when we were back in Australia based on the reviews and the fact we could have good old English fish and chips with white tablecloths! Lol. Andres and his staff did not disappoint, welcoming, funny and great service. We were catching up with friends we haven't seen for 30 years, and lingered for 3 hours without any pressure to leave. Highly recommended 👌

It took me 16 months of searching since arriving in the UK to find truly excellent fish and chips. Chris and the team at Gigs are a great bunch of guys that know how to deliver excellent food. Keep up the good work. I'll be back for more very soon.

We had guests in from the US, and one of the meals they wanted was kebabs. This place gets very good reviews, so we tried it out for lunch. We were not disappointed! We did takeaway, and they let us eat out at their outside tables (not supposed to do that), and we had so much food! All of it was excellent, especially the Lamb Doner kebabs - very fresh and full of flavor. The sit down restaurant looks nice, and they also do Fish and Chips, which looked excellent as well.

My English friend who lives just outside of London recommended this place to me. As an American I’m used to very big portions. This restaurant was very generous! It was hands-down, the most beautiful fish and chips I’ve ever seen in my life. It was also phenomenally delicious with fresh ingredients. They clearly know what they are doing. The owner and staff were very charming and accommodating as well. Thank you!

Wonderful ambiance and service. I ordered the Haddock fish and chips, and it was good. I can't speak for authenticity because I'm not from the UK, but portions were generous, the fish was cooked perfectly, and the chips were light and crisp.

Stopped by late on a Wednesday and they had only the take away shop open. Not a great time to go, as the fish pieces and chips seemed to be past their prime. Still a good experience, but this is the fast food version, and I’m looking for a little more crunch of the coating and freshness of the fish. Plus the guy was not friendly at all. Again, it was near closing time.

I went with my family to have a Saturday dinner at this restaurant, despite the busy time the service was fast. Relatively low prices, tasty food (we ordered falafel, lamb and chicken). Very kind staff. Place is clean. I recommend it!
