Amazing lively atmosphere at the bottom of the pub. When we got upstairs for dinner, it was quiet and a great experience! Staff was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful for all that they had going on! The fish and chips are a must. The added curry sauce was flavourful and rich. Incredible experience and would definitely recommend!

A historical pub with a solid Sunday roast. Good, but not exceptional. The sirloin and chicken lathered with the rich sauce was delish, but what the heck was wrong with the potatoes? They were rock-hard and inedible. Luckily, we also ordered the fish and chips and onion fries. Salvation. Service was prompt and friendly.

Cozy pub with exceptional food and friendly employees.
We came here two times because we had to book, and apperently children aren’t allowed on the first floor because that's the bar part of this restaurant.
But including all that, it was still worth it

Classic pub tucked away in Covent Garden. We say upstairs on a busy Saturday and enjoyed a couple of pints and some bar snacks. Probably on the top end for pricing, but the pigs in blankets were good as was there. Big vibes downstairs and out the front.

Small little pub, nestles away off the busy surrounding area. A must visit for tourists in the area wanting an authentic British pub feel. Very limited seating outdoors but can stand on the street with your drink. Limited seating indoors. Good selection of drinks and beers on off. Few cask and craft beers available too

Came here for a pint & meal before threatre! The atmosphere was lovely due to the feel of the pub. The food was pretty good - we had the fish & chips + lamb sausages. Only improvement could have been the chips which I'm sure weren't double fried as the inside of the chunkier ones weren't that soft. The service depending on who you got I reckon. Still worth a visit for a pint and soaking in the place.

Yes, my shoes stuck to the floor (slightly) and the place gave an auru that many pints had been consumed (and spilled), which is exactly what I expected from a 400 year old Coveant Garden bar. It has personality, friendly service, and charm. We enjoyed a slow sit down pint in the afternoon, but it seemed like a great pub crawl stop. If in the area and the crowds were away, I would stop by again.

Oh my god. Built in 1623, and it shows. In what world does a restaurant stay open for 400 years. I’ll tell you, a restaurant that provides top notch food, service, and quality. I truly could not be any happier about my experience here. The beer is good and my favorite meal is definitely the fish and chips but my goodness it’s amazing so is the burger too
