Pickled Fred

1st of all, I want to mention how good the food is. Expertly paired ingredients, very good selection and plenty of very different options. Secondly, the allergy specifications are top, with loads of options for vegan, GF and dairy free. As a meat eater, with no food restrictions, I did not feel compromised at all to pick food "family style" others who were dairy free could eat. Simple ideas, complex ingredients, expertly executed. Also, very interesting cocktails. Recommended.

Last week was my first time in London, and my friend brought me to this restaurant. I absolutely loved it: the location is very trendy, the food is spot on, the cocktails phenomenal and the service amazing! Pickled Fred has a heart and passion for the restaurant and that is visible. I could definitely recommend to visit if you find yourself in London. And try their Scotch Egg, you won’t regret it!

Top quality food and a very original menu which will tempt adventurous palates and lovers of lesser known cuisines: root chips, octopus with chickpeas were amongst the tantalizing dishes that I tasted, but the table quickly filled with more intriguing and appetizing plates! Service was also top notch: the waiter that tended to our table was incredibly friendly, professional and attentive, and also good with suggestions. The only little grumble which I think could be improved is the size of the portions, which tend to be more tapas-like than proper mains. But overall thumbs up for a place that stands out from the competition for originality, quality and personable approach.

A low key and humble place with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food is amazing. Really well put together food, good flavours and fresh ingredients. Loved the twist on traditional Asian dishes. Presentation looked great too and portion size is good. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. Amazing for anyone with dietary requirements like coeliacs. Will definitely go back :)

I recently discovered this place and I'm very glad I did. I love coming here, the owners are an absolute delight going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. They have a great bar selection with a range of original cocktails, fab wine menu and then there's the food....I don't know where to start! It's an amazing fusion of everything East Asian. It is fantastic! The jack fruit scotch egg being one of my personal favourites. This place is must try and a wonderful escape from the city madness.
