Loved our time here. We asked to be put in front of a screen for the football and were. The staff were excellent, young lad behind the bar was very nice to our group. Great selection of beers. Food was delicious especially ssg and mash. One feedback was sticky toffee pudding should have had more sauce. But great experience would recommend.

Welcoming, prompt bar service. Good atmosphere, pub packed inside and out on lovely Friday October evening. Glad we booked a table 🙂 Food great. DJ set up in section of pub where we were c.10pm, we departed shortly after purely due to trains (reduced sv) and using venue to catch up, chat 😉. Place appeals to all ages😊

Went for Sunday Roast food itself very generous and good. Very busy as well which is a good sign. So giving a 4 for this alone. Service sadly non existent - we asked at the bar if it was table service for food and they said it was however we ended up ordering every drink order and our food from the bar as no-one came to take our order. Fine if it is bar service but as we were told it was table service we ended up waiting for a long time for someone to come take our order - which never happened. Also had to ask them at the bar again to clear our tables as we were sitting with our dirty plates for long time.

Came here for Sunday roast after reserving a table through their website. Very nice pub and good food but slightly let down by service. Felt they were understaffed and there was a lot of waiting for someone to take our order, pay the bill etc. The chicken was delicious but the beef wasn't as nice and was chewy.

My first Sunday roast ever. My sister took me here to try a classic 'Sunday roast' and I was not let down. This LARGE plate full of delicious food left me full for the rest of the day (we ate at noon). I got the beef, and my sister had the chicken. I also had a good flat white and small scoop of ice cream for dessert. I would highly recommend.

Great local pub with a wide selection of tipple to chose from at pretty reasonable prices. Wonderfully friendly staff that always have a smile on their face and are prompt with their service. The food here is really good and the portion sizes will leave you more than satisfied. They have numerous screens all across the pub showing live games that you can view no matter where you’re sat. In summer and during The Tournament it is common to have large groups enjoying their drinks outside and it makes for a very festive environment.
