Cake Boy Ltd

Four of us came for a French baking day, making a Gateaux Breton, a Tarte Tatin, and a Loaf cake. We all had a fantastic day and found Eric to be a very patient, helpful, and thoroughly entertaining host. We all went home with beautiful looking bakes which we will be eating for the foreseeable future. Would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a baking workshop.

Vegan Afternoon tea with champagne experience. When it comes to vegan afternoon teas la suite west have managed to establish themselves as the best well no longer, least not in my opinion. The interior of Cake boy was colourful and fun this was followed by great service and attentive service. The staff had our seats waiting and promptly offered us the menus to select our teas. 1837 black tea with soy milk was delicious. Then followed the food. The sandwiches were delicious and i loved them. The savoury sandwiches were sizeable but above all tasty. No cucumber petit sandwiches on offer here. This was then followed with a huge arrary of sweets and wow were they great. Anyone wanting a vegan treat should come here. I loved it Thanks for a lovely afternoon

Really lively almost psychedelic retro style decor with its colourful atmosphere. The cakes are enjoyable and uniquely different. I went there with a 2 month old baby and a friend. The comfortable seats were booked out for afternoon tea so we sat on the tall stools be the windows. I wouldn't say it is designed to be baby and buggy friendly, there are other places for that, but it was still a pleasant hour which is all one can manage with little ones. The kitchen was right behind us, used for masterclasses with celebrity chef Eric Lanlard. And he was there in the cafe too 😁
