Wood fired pizza was excellent as well as the fish and chips. The mushy peas could have been better and the prices were a little high. Very convenient to the Imperial War Museum. We are outside on the picnic tables, nicely shaded.

Stopped off when in the area on 9th/October. Had the tuna pizza. Sounded weird but thought I'd give it a try since the blonde foreign bird suggested it as a daily special. 11 quid. Topped it off with a couple pints of the cider on tap. Overall beautiful food and nice cider. Will be back.

We stopped in before going to the Imperial War Museum and it was a great choice. Very good fish and chips and pizza. Love that they are independent beer wise. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was chill. It was a nice change of pace from touristy Central London.

Walked in without a reservation with my scouts and leaders after a busy day sightseeing after the imperial war museum, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. Sorted us a table, got some hot kids cool drinks quickly and took our food order, even taking the time to explain items on the menu to some picky kids (and adults). The food was great, good portions, great quality all served by friendly staff... For a random walk in to a pub by tourists, couldn't have been happier. Oh yeah and the beer was excellent. 😁

Absolutely great roast! We had some people who aren't the biggest fans of roasts and they loved it too. Highly recommend the sharing lamb 😍

Popped in here for a quick lunchtime pint. Liked the plain unfancy look....a real pub. Decent beer choice and the menu looked good too. I'll be back!

🚇 Lambeth North 🍺 £5.70 Pravha ❤️ A traditional corner pub with links to Kennington’s most famous son. . The Three Stags is perched on a corner at the busy junction of Kennington and Lambeth roads. The Imperial war museum is just around the corner and nearest tube is Lambeth North. . This pub is steeped in local history. Charlie Chaplin’s father drank in here and the pub is mentioned in Charlie Chaplin’s autobiography. . The interior here is traditional with lots of rustic tables and chairs. There are some original period features and a few eclectic touches too. Around the bar are a number of chalkboards detailing upcoming entertainment and a CBD cocktails list no less. In the corner of pub is a cosy intimate snug called Chaplins corner. . I was served by a really bubbly and engaging member of staff who took my pint order. I opted for a pint of Pravha which was nice and under six quid. The food menu is full of pub classics, there are also wood fired pizzas which are very popular and available to takeaway. . I visited late afternoon and the pub was starting to fill up. The atmosphere was relaxed and the majority of punters were sat on the benches outside. There is plenty to keep you entertained here, there are regular quiz nights, live music and also cabaret evenings. . The @thethreestags_se1 is an excellent pub with lots of history attached. This pub offers great beer, food and entertainment. I really enjoyed my visit here, definitely one for your list. . ℹ️ Information correct on visiting 24/09/22

From now on, our first meal (and beer) in London will always be at The Three Stags. It's a proper English pub with a unique twist on traditional cuisine. The food, beer, and service are always top notch.
