The Piano Works West End

Great night at Pianoworks West end. Found this place on the Visit London app, as I it was for a friend who wanted to listen to live music whilst having dinner. The venue is fairly dark, but I expected that from the photos on their website. They have a happy hour and a good range of cocktails alcoholic and non alcoholic (though I suspect a lot of the non alcoholic would probably taste the same as they are mostly syrup). The food was surprisingly good, we ordered a chicken ceasar salad, a whole ribs and steak, each very good. The live music was very enjoyable, initially singing song themselves and then eventually taking song requests from the guests as the venue began to fill up. They initially had just the piano players, but we could see the guitar, drums and other instruments preparing as we left. Please note, you can only hold a table for 2 hours for dining, but if there is space, they can move you to somewhere else in the venue for you to continue listening to the music. All and all a great night.

Very good environment to spend a night. The music is absolutely phenomenal, and the musicians know how to play really well. There’s a really good and open dance floor. If you don’t make a reservation, you’ll have to pay a 15 pound cover, but that’s not bad considering the covers for other worse clubs in London

What a great night! We were booked in for 5pm-7pm slot last night, a great time to go as we were a table of 4 with only another 6 tables around us so it felt like our own private party, very intimate as the pianist and singers were all right in front of us.The singers were all so good,and they all looked as if they were all enjoying themselves,which obviously adds to the atmosphere and they are serving your food and drinks as well.We had a set menu starter & main for £15pp so great value (buy a gift), the food was very nice & hot (so many places dont manage that),drinks were on happy hour, so that was good too and service was very attentive also. To sum up the atmosphere in this lovely little venue is great, a fun night out and we will definatley be returning.

Went for a Hen Do of 38 and we had an absolute BLAST. The music was awesome and staff were BRILLIANT. Stand out staff Lucinda and Alessia, drinks were constantly refilled, they kept the vibes up and more importantly they handled all 38 of us (not easy) Would definitely suggest coming here for a fun night out.

Giada was an excellent host. We loved the party. The venue should improve on the booking part. I would be happy to book an other table at the time of booking, as it was not clear that you will have to give your table up. However if you are planning to stay longer than 2 hours, it’s not a pleasant experience, as you have to wait around to find you a table also, that table can be booked in an other 2 hours, so we ended up to celebrate a lady’s 50th birthday, however pleasant they were, we felt displaced.

Was recommended this place cos my friends little sister works there, so had to make sure we went on a night Lucinda could seat us! Don't think she remembered me but worked really hard all night on all the tables she had, and we had a blast too! Very lively place, recommend the ribs, and all the musicians and performers were phenomenal. Will be sure to visit again when we're back in town.
