Mildreds Dalston

I had a delightful curry experience at this restaurant. Everything was so flavorful. So intense. So creatively made. As I ate the meal I could feel the spices racing through my veins! To top it off, I had a engaging conversation with a waitress from India. I appreciate it so much when restaurant workers take the time to actually talk intellectually/ philosophically. Food for the body. Food for the soul.

I enjoyed a table for one at Mildred’s last night- a warm welcome and attentive, helpful service from an excellent member of staff made me feel less self-conscious eating alone. Delicious bokkeumbap- hot, fresh, sticky, spicy and very filling. Didn’t want dessert but the truffles were highlighted to me so I had almond whisky truffles. Probably the best truffle chocolate I’ve had and £3. Really enjoyed my visit!

A great location for healthy food in a spacious light atmosphere. Hopefully one day the scaffolding will finally be removed from outside the building as it's now been there for many years. Lots of veggie food options, though surprisingly limited for gluten free options which was disappointing. Food was super tasty but the service was terrible. Took ages take our order, then got it wrong, charged us for wrong items, and again to get the bill was the slowest ever. Staff were always friendly when the finally got to you, but you certainly needed to be patient though.

Love this place! We’ve been quite a few times over the years and we’re never disappointed! The food is always delicious and the staff are super welcoming. I had the Gyozas and Korean style burger which were both delicious. (Only managed to get one photo because I got too distracted by eating!!!) Some vegan places seem to all do the same thing either vegan junk or completely whole foods, but Mildred’s always manage to create dishes with exciting flavours and textures. The cocktails are super yummy and a pretty good price for London. Always a treat, can’t wait to come back!

Ohhh we had a wonderful time at Mildred's Dalston. All the staff were so friendly and attentive while still giving us time to have a relaxed catch up. The food was delicious and great portions. It's rare to find a plant based restaurant with unique tasting food. Loved it! Looking forward to coming back!
