The Chapel Bar

Our TV Drama hired the upstairs & downstairs of the Chapel Bar for our Wrap Party, which was attended by roughly 150 guests. This was the 2nd Wrap Party I've arranged at the Chapel Bar - and it was even better than the first! The owner & staff were very helpful, and provided a great service throughout - including cooking & serving a large array of hot snacks to our many guests. This was the first time I have booked the entire venue out, and I would definitely look to book it as a whole venue again, as the upstairs terrace really is a fantastic hire if you have the numbers to justify taking the extra space. I can definitely recommend that Chapel Bar, and look forward to booking another Wrap Party there in the future.

We hired out the upstairs room and and terrace area for our dads surprise 70th birthday. Upon arrival staff were very helpful. They assisted us in terms of where we could hang our decorations, helping with music and connecting it and anything else we needed. Loved the terrace area and great as was a warm day so guests could go outside. Bar service amazing and staff were friendly and helpful even having a laugh and joke with us. Atmosphere was great and food lovely. All in all we all had an amazing time.

Our friends had their small wedding reception (70 people) here in September 2023. The private hire venue is lovely: Upstairs, with a wraparound terrace. Additionally, I love craft cocktails (London's Nightjar is my favorite bar) and Chapel Bar's bartender, Oli, makes some of the best cocktails I've ever had (specifically the espresso martini). He's also a lovely host and was very patient & kind to our group!

Thank you so much to Luke, Ollie and the rest of the team for the amazing 30th birthday party we had at the Chapel Bar last weekend. We had about 90 guests and the downstairs venue was absolutely perfect for what we were after with a good sized bar and dancefloor. We're very grateful for all the attentive help you gave us in the run up organizing and on the night which all ran very smoothly - you made it all very easy and enjoyable! We would definitely recommend it to others!

The Chapel Bar was the perfect choice for our running club party which I organised in July 2023. We booked the whole venue for around 120 people and it worked really well - everyone loved the variety of different spaces with the outdoor terrace, upstairs and downstairs bar, and dance floor. We pre-ordered some canapés and the BBQ menu, which was ideal for our group. The venue staff were very friendly and accommodating, and were particularly good at organising the alternative menu options for people in our group with dietary requirements. The bar is well-stocked with a great selection of cocktails, shots and other drinks, the pricing is reasonable for central London, and overall the venue offers a fun atmosphere for this type of private event. I received lots of positive feedback from the guests and would definitely recommend for similar parties!

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding reception at The Chapel bar terrace. It was perfect for our intimate gathering and Luke, Ollie and the rest of his team were wonderful and really on top of everything. Our guest loved the food, really delicious and the service was great. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an event venue!

Went to The Chapel Bar to try their pop up, Katsu & Buns, and it was delicious! Service was excellent and thought the menu was very varied and different - lots of different items to try and all was very well presented. Stand out for me was the Katsu burger. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the brownie was very dry - otherwise I couldn’t fault it.

We hired the terrace room & garden for my hen do and the venue and the team were absolutely fantastic on the lead up and on the day! They were able to fit all 22 of us on a table together on the terrace for the lunch and kept the drinks flowing constantly. The bar area has the perfect size dance floor & you can play your own music. Highly recommend!
