Spontaneously grabbed a quick drink here one sunny evening and saw other tables ordering pizzas that looked really good. The menu only really had a plain tomato and garlic pizza suitable for vegans but we thought we'd try it anyway so went in to double check about the base and the chef came out and said he'd make something bespoke. And it was the best pizza we've had in ages - generous with the veg, not too oily, light and airy base. Many thanks to that chef!

A characteristics Pub, the bear it's really good, the atmosphere relaxed, enjoy a sunny day outside, there are to many table and chair in the sidewalk.

Had a really unexpected, but highly entertaining, night at this pub. Went for a quiet drink and found a very talented lady at the piano taking requests. There seemed to be no song she did not know and could not perform to a high standard. The crowd were also in fine voice. Bar staff were friendly and efficient. If I lived in London this would be my local. Highly recommended.
