Pret A Manger

There are a few branches close by. This one is located opposite Baker Street station. Always busy. Seating is very close and tightly spaced. Despite the line, staff were generally pleasant and my hot drink was good. Extra hot as I wanted. Adequate range of food from soup to salads, sandwiches and more. My issue as per most branches was cleanliness. I just don't get Pret. Do your employees live in filth that they don't want to clean? I am talking floors, tables and seats. I saw one family asking for a table to be cleaned so they could eat. They have one staff member playing with a display, one emptying bins but nobody cleaning? One day this will make someone ill and Pret can be in the news again! Please CLEAN!

This Pret is one of my usual to go for lunch - food is always fresh and customers are dealt with promptly despite the huge queues during busy times. They have a variety of vegan and vegetarian food options including toasts, sandwiches, salad, macaroni and soups. I love the vegetable tagine soup and the falafel salad. Coffee is good and you can get a drinks subscription which is good value for the fee paid. I would like to see a bit more variety in the veggie options as the menu hasn’t changed much since 2016.

As any other Pret, the price looks premium however my wife says, it deserves it. But I am bit skeptical. The presentation and contents look A class. Staff were good, tried to be helpful. We had some salads, sandwich and hot drink. We stayed in outside the restaurant but just two tables with 2 chairs each, probably there was more place inside but couldn't see it.
