Great experience ate here for a whole week on a stsy. Great food lovely staff.

Really loved the vibe here. Was hot yesterday so very busy but staff were doing a wonderful job.. Lovely beer garden with TVs outside to watch the rugby. Spoke to a girl behind the bar and she was just excellent. Really took her time and explained the cocktail menu to me, even though it was really busy. Her and the boy behind the bar were very speedy. Didnt try the food as it was too warm to eat anyhting, but it looked nice as it was coming out.

When this place is buzzing its awesome. Great outside seating arrangements and staple enlgish food, beers reasonably prices no idea what happened to my original review but I love this pub so much. A personal fave of mines around this side of London.

Excellent find. Wonderful beer nice atmosphere. I was served by two different ladies who were both outstanding. Cheery and polite. Wish we'd found it earlier.

The waitress Ioana provided the most amazing service. She remembered my drink order even though they were absolutely slammed. She was incredibly friendly and attentive. Will continue to return due to her attention to detail.

Went there twice so far. Friendly service and food ist simple but very tasteful. Highly recommended.

When we arrived, it was crowed, but waiter tried to find a place quickly.
When we had a place, I wanted to order beer, but not able to make my choice, so I asked advices to waiter, who propose me to taste in order to let me decide.
So good place to go with waiters who are really taking care of the customers.

Part of the Royal National Hotel, so geared towards a lot of guests, the room is more utilitarian than cosy, and the menu not that extensive, not the food came quickly and was delicious, and the service was friendly.

A nice Pub. It is located within the Royal National Hotel and serves as one of their restaurants. You will meet hotelguests rather than locals, but (as we experienced) if there is a match on, the guests go wild as anywhere.
Typical Pub food, beers, ciders. All in a good price range. If you can't make it to a "real" Pub, this is your choice.
