Visited without pre-booking and they accommodated us. Excellent service and excellent quality. Good for a business meeting or a casual catch up with friends or family.

Here for a corporate event on the ground floor in that raised area, it wasn't quite big enough, but that's not the bars fault... the bar staff we brilliant bringing buckets of beer and loads of food...lots of food...too much food lol and chips in tiny little buckets

Great cocktails!! Fantastic location - I had a tasty gin and tonic and fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Very tasty, friendly staff, just a bit pricey...but I guess what do you expect with the location.

Great bar and friendly staff. The location is good. It’s at the gherkin on the ground floor and uses a lot of the space out side so there’s always room for lots of people. Prices are what you’d expect for the city, there’s always a good atmosphere and I’ve never seen any trouble happen there

I’ve been booking twice at The Sterling for my team to after work drinks.
It’s been such an easy call to book there considering the team management, their wholesomeness and warm greetings
I’ve been dealing with a lady named Selma who was a pleasure to meet and more than helpful during our party.
Can’t recommend better bar. Thanks to the whole staff.
Looking forward to bringing friends and my managing agents again

Went for Christmas lunch. Staff very friendly and managed our table of 10 well. Food arrived quickly and together. Small portions for each of the 3 courses. Sadly cannot give five stars for price of xmas menu and portion size. Location is perfect and good selection of drinks.

I tried the Christmas menu which was really good. I must say the food was on point and I finished it all! It may be a little pricy but given location, I suspect it’s in line. Lacked a little salt but overall I’d go there for the meal again and friendly staff.
