The Beachcomber Bar - House Of Agricole Rhum

The waitress who served us was very welcoming and helped us choose a drink from the cocktail list. We did not try the food, because the kitchen had already closed that was fine. The cocktails looked and tasted great. The straws even looked like bamboo sticks. Very impressed, we will be coming back.

The staff were fantastic. Very welcoming. I went as a pure rum (Rhum) drinker to sample the unique French/Caribbean rums. If you have the money, order a double. Very good value. The decor us a bit kitch and 'Club Tropicana'. So obviously I loved it! 😂 The entrance is, blink and you'll miss it. I did! 😊 (If you have any kind of mobility issues, the steep stairs to the basement may be problematic).

I LOVE checking out Tiki Bars whenever I travel. This one was pretty cool, although I was expecting more with the name Beachcomber. I 100% recommend checking it out. The drinks are good and the decor is fun. The food is decent, although you don't go to a tiki bar for the food. Unfortunately it didn't look like they had any tiki mugs for purchase.

When I feel the heavy weight of everything I feel with life, I like to escape it. The beachcomber is a hidden gem for that this place is definitely perfect for those who want to escape the chaos city life style. The staff are amazing, the set up makes you feel like your on holiday almost at some exotic location somewhere. This is a great place for a date, or for hanging out with friends and large groups. I highly recommend it also have to say Ken is an incredible host and everyone else who is working there. Try all the drinks if you can it’s all great, try all of them until you find the right one for you.

Visited on a Thursday night and arrived around 11pm. There was a line outside when we arrived and were told they were at capacity. We travelled all the way from south London so waited persistently and it paid off as we were granted access after a few people had left. It is a basement bar so you have to go down some stairs to get to the actual bar. It was extremely busy and was quite tight once we got in however after a few minutes of standing we thankfully secures some seats. There is a lovely selection of cocktails and the menu is quite detailed in terms of strength, sweetness etc. the cocktails were lovely and I will 100% be back again
