Came on Sunday for a roast and will definitely be coming back, the roast beef was incredible and the team were amazing. There is lots of parking available on the road opposite which was handy as my mum struggles with mobility and they really looked after the little ones too!

Our usual and favourite pub. The staff is professional and friendly. You can see the place is very well managed with just a couple of visits, all works very smoothly. Sometimes you can find a new person behind the counter with little experience (everybody needs to start from scratch at some point) but what I like of this place is the fact they are very committed to please the customer because they always seem to pick the right kind of person. The knowledge can be acquired but the right personality to work in a business where you need to deal with people all the time, that's a more complicated thing. And they usually nail this. The ambience is great. Several spaces or rooms that can offer a relative quietness when a group of people is celebrating something in another room. You can expect the wooden decoration and the old paintings and retro photos on the wall which make pubs pubs. The food is quite good even we usually go just for a snack. All in all, our first place to go after a hard day's work.

Love this traditional, local pub! Always buzzing with a neighborly feel, peeps out for food, drink and fun. Lots of seating options, by the window or tucked away. Also when the weather is so mild a lovely outdoor patio at back. Desserts and coffee are fine but it was my Scottish trout that’ll keep me coming back. Great pit stop by the bus stop but this is no dive. Highly recommended 🙌🏻 ( Hygiene rating 5)

We used to be regulars here 40 years ago when we lived in Putney and hadn't been back since! So everything was different apart from the front of the pub! It was late afternoon so was a bit quiet and I got served a pint which was just a bit cloudy so it wasn't wonderful. My own fault for not sending it back. But we enjoyed the afternoon. Food and service was good.

Had a lovely lunch here with the family after a walk through Putney Heath. We got the Ploughman’s board to share as well as a few drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the board was great. I especially loved the scotch eggs! Will most definitely come back

Beautiful pub with an amazing garden. We sat and ate and it was lovely. The team are really friendly and the food was great too. We will definitely be back!

Popped in for a drink after a long walk when it started raining. Friendly staff, so decided to have lunch. The fish and chips was a great option, good portion size, fish was well cooked. Will go back next time for the outside garden area on a sunnier day. Would recommend!

The staff were very accommodating, friendly & professional. The food was really good, 1 of our party just had a slight issue with 1 of the vegetarian dishes.
Our table, seating & surroundings were really good, only criticism - could do with some better ventilation.
We would visit again & would definitely recommend!

Delicious vibrant, flavour-filled vegan salad. This hidden gem is just off putney high street. With a gorgeous green beer garden & big sliding doors that allow you to see out into the garden. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

I loved this pub, such a nice atmosphere and friendly people. My server was called Poppy and she was absolutely amazing. So kind and the most excellent customer service! Couldn’t reccomend this pub more and If you go ask for poppy
