Favourite pub, often come here with family and friends. Their food, drinks are fantastic. The staff are also very welcoming and professional. Yesterday we had our wedding reception in a private room and my friends loved it, we ordered the buffet and my favourite was their fried chicken and chips, the salads and sandwiches were amazing too! Thanks Hare&Hounds for a perfect day! Thank you Phoebe, Will, Amber, Rosie and Eleanor for the fantastic job you did!

We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding reception here in their private room off to the side. I have always loved the hare, but even more now. They accommodated us with everything we needed, allowed my family to enter before we arrived and set up everything they needed. Service was amazing, staff lovely, atmosphere amazing. They went above and beyond for us and I think that goes to show it's an amazing venue. we had two sandwich boards, salad boards and their party buffet and the food was delicious. I loved the chicken and bacon the best. A special shout out to Will, Amber, Rosie, phoebe and Eleanor for being amazing and doing the best they could to ensure our day was the best. Thank you to the hare and hounds and their wonderful team for making a wonderful day, even greater than it already was.

Such a great local pub. Kiddie friendly but also a great place to go for drinks with friends and family. I haven’t found anything on their recent menu change that I haven’t liked! The staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating - we were particularly impressed by the service and friendliness given to us and our children by Phoebe, Rosie and Amber. Thank you all!

Lovely big garden at the back. Live jazz was lovely but a bit loud for a Sunday afternoon especially if you're in the front few rows of tables. Food was good, although for a lighter option the chicken Caesar salad was quite pricey and really disappointing to come across a few Baby Gem cores that'd been left in - the wrong lettuce and just lazy. Shame because everything else was great!

This is a great destination pub. Huge and well kept garden at the back and a great menu that will satisfy everyone in any group. Nice Georgian/early Victorian vibe in the original building that leads out into the garden. Good ales, lagers, wines and spirits. Thoroughly marvellous place to go, with friendly staff and swift service. Top Drawer

Booked for a wake at their private room in the snug. Food, service and area was all absolutely perfect! Nothing more could have been wanted and made a difficult day more pleasant. Thank you so much to Connor and all the staff that worked on 8/8/23. You were all so great and was really appreciated by all my family.
