Best vindaloo and chips in the world. Staff are very friendly and portions are generous. I love hot🔥 food and my vindaloo always comes the way I like it. Their chips are by far the best in Penge and with the vindaloo sauce combination it is perfection on a plate. I tried two alternatives during lockdown as the shop was closed but nobody does a curry like these gentleman do. Highly recommended 🙌

It was a town of machinery and tall chimneys, out of which interminable serpents of smoke trailed themselves for ever and ever, and never got uncoiled. It had an ebony canal in it, and a river that ran purple with ill-smelling dye, arid astronomical piles of building full of windows where there was a rattling and a trembling all day long, and where the piston of the steam-engine worked monotonously up and down, like the head of an elephant in a state of melancholy madness

My family have been using this restaurant since I was a child. They always have wonderful service, the delivery person is always very happy as well and the food is amazing (well seasoned and well cooked) ; it's even better the day after!
