Bellaria Restaurant & Wine Bar

What a cute little gem of a restaurant this is. Everything about this place was fab! Food was delicious! Tasty, fresh, just divine! We had an al fresco dining experience but when I stepped into the restaurant, I was even more surprised. It was absolutely gorgeous. Staff were just great too. Friendly, warm and very attentive. The street views were also very delightful. Wine options were great. Great value for money and I will certainly be going back! Can’t recommend highly enough

The food, the ambience (art, background music, wine bottles all over the walls), the service, the attention to detail ... I cannot emphasise enough how much of a great restaurant Bellaria is. My experience started with a warm welcome, and we were offered samples of wine before making a selection - I forgot to ask for the old man's name, he really knows his wines. Constantly vigilant as to the customer's needs (I.e. glass needs a refill, new cutlery, any other requests) Cheers for accommodating my request for a table by the window - it did not disappoint. I'd recommend this for a date, it is quite the romantic spot 💯 Cons: a bit cramped up with some tables in very close proximity from each other. I could almost hear the breathing of the man at the table behind me 😂 But this was not an issue as they have replicated the actual setting from restaurants in Northern Italy🇮🇹 (fact-checked by my lovely date). Now for the food: Fritto Misto An absolute divine delicacy, You can taste the subtle freshness of the ocean in the seafoodbite carrot sticks are a wonderful surprise that adds depth to this dish. I was a tad skeptical about the Whitebait but it turned out to be my second favourite thing here 🤯 The #1 spot is for the Salmon with such a refreshing mild flavour profile, simple but tasty 😋 Black Agnolotti I have never in my life had such a flavourful pasta dish. Pasta stuffed with mixed seafood - not only is the pasta handmade and fresh but the culmination is the seafood with which it is stuffed. And the breathtakingly rich cherry tomato, basil sauce and lime zest escorted this dish to 5 stars 🌟 Complete and utter bliss - both my date and I were fully satisfied 😌 Wine 2020 Visconti della Rocca, Gran Edizione Primitivo A smooth Primitivo lead by notes of raspberry, black cherry and liquorice, then complimented by hints of oak, vanilla, and chocolate. We definitely should have ordered a different wine to pair with the seafood nonetheless, it was surprisingly perfectly balanced and somehow it worked with the seafood. In short, great restaurant! Decently sized portions for gourmet food, and the price you'd expect for everything I have mentioned here. I would definitely recommend this, especially for an intimate date.
