It's no secret that I think the Dog and Bell is a gold star in the Deptford pub landscape but the black horse is on route to be a contender.
There is a calming atmosphere in the black dog while they serve up hype local Brick Brewery it’s literally brewed around the corner.
If you lurk around Deptford definitely get The Black Horse on your list.

Great staff and fun events and deals weekly. Has a projector to watch sports, a pool table, a garden, good pizza, cocktails and nice draught beer. What more could you want

the only thing missing is having music, otherwise everything else is perfect

Really enjoyed the pub since moving into the area. Great selection of drinks and the food is top quality (especially the garlic foccacia). Always has great sport on the big screen and the atmosphere always makes me feel welcome.

The first time I went with my sister and our dog. Pets friendly 100% the vegetarian pizza was amazing and the vibes ✓✓✓ really good vibes ! Hope this open soon to come back :) I have a really good memories in this bar

My first visit to the Black Horse, I have enjoyed it immensely. I was made to feel welcome, excellent service from behind the bar. Rugby on the telly, stopped for an extra one and a pizza, both touched the heart! However, if you are a real ale fan....... All is Cask. Lovely visit, lovely people.

Really cool place with some very good beers that stays open quite late.

Good pub, shows premier league football. No cask ales and the prices are about 5£ a point (so normal for London). Nice, trendy vibe. Exposed brickwork. Pizza is the main food. Dart board too! 👍

Good selection on the taps and dog friendly. Darts, table tennis and board games.

Great beer selection and the pizzas aren't too bad either. Not that child friendly but do have one good quality high chair that was enough for us. Will be back now we know it's here 😊
