The Owl And Pussycat

Decided to call here for Sunday lunch as it was just around the corner from where we were staying. We were greeted by a lovely young lady in the restaurant upstairs and she seated us by the window which was nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary which she made just to my liking that I had another. The pea and broad bean scotch egg for starter was beautiful and the Sunday Roast was hmm hmm. There were 4 of us in total each having 2 courses. Drinks wise we had 2 bloody Mary’s, a lime and soda, 2 lager shandy’s, 2 coca cola’s and 2 large wines. The bill came to a total of £195 inc service charge which I think is pretty good in the City.

Booked a large table in the upstairs area for drinks. The upstairs was fairly quiet with just a couple of chairs and tables pushed to the side for standing, so we ended up just moving down into the beer garden where it was much more lively :) Us moving was just personal preference however, and staff provided great service and food was very good. Would definitely go back again!
