Great pub for socialising and having good food. We’re Sunday lunchtime regulars and the staff are always helpful, courteous and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend… Strong menu. Lots of 0% beer options for the non-drinkers (which is surprisingly rare in South London!) and the Roasts are the best in the area!

Best gastro pub I have eaten in for a while. I was not going to write this review after the first time I ate there as I wanted to keep this gem to myself. But having been utterly treated to another amazing Sunday Roast I thought I should share the love- they deserve to be complimented. The chefs there are really showing off...and they can!! I have worked in the restaurant business myself for many years and know how hard it is to pull off top class food- given the vagaries of the weather and customer demand. But this place smashes it. I ate there as a table of ten- with another table for the kids. I had food envy for many of the dishes but to name a few the Tuna Tacos are beautifully balanced- the pork belly blends fat and meat perfectly- and each of the vegetables were perfectly done...and the Hep Cat lager and Organic House wine are both great. Kids had a big selection too from Pizza to mini roasts. The staff were very happy and welcoming and seemed to like working there- we felt very looked after and treated. So at risk of not getting a table next time...I will share their love and I highly recommend this place. I Loved it and woke up on Monday not wincing at the bill...it was certainly all worth it!!
