Nam Long Le Shaker

Just had a 21st birthday last minute (organised 2 days before) in the opium lounge. It's the perfect ambience for such an evening. Plush sofa seating, atmospheric lighting and an enjoyable playlist (one of our guests asked for the playlist afterwards). Its a small venue and this enabled us to have the whole place to ourselves, which with it's own bar is very cool. We went for the most basic set menu which was really delicious and plentiful. Everyone had their fill. Catered pretty seamlessly (though notified in advance) for 2 coeliacs and 1 GF/DF diner with separate dishes (we had a beef dish and a fish in place of chicken curry), as well as feeding a pescatarian with no notice (pretty straight forward I think for a restaurant :)). We had a lot of cocktails and Prosecco. It's fun that the venue changes into a club at 10.30, which our guests and birthday girl stayed on to enjoy. Would highly recommend as a birthday venue even for younger diners with mocktails. They'll love it!

Ive been a frequent client to Nam Long for a couple of years and i can tell you the vibe is the best in London!! Great music, lovely staff, delicious food! Excellent for a romantic dinner or party night out! They have a downstairs bar that has the most amazing vibe and music! Cocktails are soo good! Definitely will recommend

Nice restaurant pre-party, we had dinner there with friends and the service was the best, Pepe and Maria José made us laugh a lot! The food was served quickly and the quality was good. The price is not cheap, but London neither. We ordered Saigon chicken curry and Beef fillet cubes plus sides and some starters. The best ones were the beef cubes and egg noodles with bean sprouts (big side). After dinner, 00:00, downstairs area opens and people came in for drinks till 2am.Definetly a good place to have fun!

Frequenting over many years, this place has held out to the test of time it shows no peril of diminishing anytime soon from the crowd it pulls in weekly. A buzzy fun atmosphere with a regular clientele and good music. The restaurant is equally as fun with non complicated fair prices and decent portions. The beef tataki and the chi yim squid are my returning favourites with an always satisfying steamed seabass that melts away splendidly. Suitable on all levels from Group dinners, first dates and one last one for the road!
