The Whitecross Tap

A solid pub off the main drag nearby to Old Street. There’s a nice albeit small outside area for the nicer days. The drink selection is pretty standard and it’s better than some of the average venues in the locality. The service was solid and efficient. Do I need to profess about individual staff members and their service quoting them by name? No I don’t as that’s quite unlikely although that’s what some more suspect reviews may suggest. If this pub does normally give you their name when serving on a busy evening then I must’ve missed out. All the same it’s not too bad for the area.

I wish I could give this place a 6 star review but unfortunately that cannot happen... I have never been so welcomed in a pub having moved over from South Africa 2 years ago and everything service, food, and atmosphere is impeccable! I highly recommend going to this pub whether it is for some pints or some pizza, maybe even both! ps. the Guinness pour is top class!

Best pub in London! Since moving to Old Street, we’ve quickly adopted the White Cross Tap as our favoured local. The consistently friendly service, great range of drinks, and unrivalled pizzas are to die for! If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend popping in to their beer garden for a 2-4-1 cocktail in the sun.
