When I am in this area once in a while I love to go to The Fish Palace, so I did today.
Super fresh, battered and deep fried the moment you order. Just perfect 5* Yummy 🤤 experience.
This is the £6 All Days Kids menu with additional mushed peas...next time I am up for the adults menu ;-)

Great chips but the fish can improve, prices are slightly overpriced for what you get.

Took kids for dinner and it was pretty nice. Nice food, friendly atmosphere and kids loved the food. Would highly recommend.

The new owners are friendly and are welcoming. The side salad is amazing and fish always cooked fresh. The previous owners are gone, but the new owners are there for everyone. They will welcome the locals, as the fish shops are now are a dying breed. Please support this wonderful business. They are there for us. X Debbie and Darren

Visited today with my wife and baby for the first time.
I will start by saying, the service was fabulous. Very child friendly, with clean high chairs.
The food was honestly without exaggeration, the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! The cod was delicious and the chips were perfect (thick, crispy, hot and fluffy on the inside.)
My wife, who is a hard nut to crack was really happy with her fresh grilled seabass with salad option.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Was passing when out and about working between jobs. Glad I found this place as I will now make a point of stopping when passing again. Really friendly, very very nice food and a great price.

Hugely underrated fish and chip shop. Far better than others in the area that have people queuing round the block on a Friday evening. The batter is always crispy, which is the main thing, and the chips aren’t overly oily. Lucky to have this place.
