Last night 04/01/2023 for the very first time I decided to try this restaurant as I wanted a change. I have lived in the area since 2013 was used to another takeaway very close by. I found a leaflet I had stashed away. Decided to order salmon tikka which they didn’t have. I then ordered a chicken saag aalo pizza 10 inch and a tarka Daal. Very polite man on the phone said it would take between 30 and 45 minutes it was about 50 minutes approx. I was to say the least very very impressed the tarka daal was much better even better than the other place which I have been ordering from. For approx 8 odd years. The pizza was 10 in square and I have to say really tasty. Like I said it’s my first time and yes it definitely tickled my taste buds so I will now become a regular here too thank you for the lovely food Rice and Spice.

It's a takeaway that also does pizzas, has nice curry based pizzas that I've not had anywhere else. That's what I like about this place, recommend the chicken 65 curry base pizza, is spicy.

We had the paneer curry pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The curry base was incredibly delicious and all the flavours were perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly and the service was nice and quick. 10/10 all round! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing food 😍
I ordered the chicken Goan it's the best dish I've ever ordered from a Indian takeaway it's packed with flavour and spices.
The portions are definitely worth the price.
My mum has dietary requirements and they always go above and beyond for her when we order from here.

I have had their food a couple of times and I have to say the food is excellent quality. I ordered the chicken biriyani once and I asked them to customise the spice level to my liking and they did it extremely well unlike lots of places I have been to. Their service is great. They do like to make their customers happy, the food is fresh and the cooking quality is very good. What else do you need from a takeaway.

After a 12 hour long haul flight myself and my family of five, returned home to Hackney, only to find nothing to cook in the house !! We googled local takeaways and found, Rice and Spice and we placed an order.
I was greeted very professionally and courteously and he walked me through the ordering process effortlessly, the food was amazing, which arrived within the stated time of 45 minutes and also was priced very reasonably.
This company is highly recommended for their quality of food, their pricing and their delivery were all spot-on.
10 out of 10 and thumbs keep up the good work.
Hope to place another order soon.

Rice 'n' spice is situated between Stoke Newington and upper Clapton. It is a take away only establishment. Disappointed by the over hyped and over priced indian restaurants on Church street N16 I started going to RnS some years ago. The delivery turn over is incredible which means the food is always fresh and tasty. The staff are polite, chatty and generous. I reuse the plastic containers they provide. I order a take away and then go for a drink at the Royal sovereign a couple of door down. what could be better?

On Friday evening we ordered a takeaway from Rice N Spice which took over 2 hours to arrive. However, after raising this in a review on the Just Eat app, the restaurant turned up on Saturday evening with a surprise piping hot meal for us free of charge. We were really impressed by this rapid and pro-active response. Thank you Rice N Spice for this kind gesture. Excellent customer service.

I was in the neighbourhood glazing some window when i just popped in. It was a nice spot with nice food. Really liked the Keema Naan and the Chicken Tikka masala which went well with the Bombay potatoes. Usually order from muhaib on brick lane as it's my local spot but this place was a pleasant surprising. Many more orders coming your way!

The chef always is able to use the right amount of spices, absolutely mouth watering dishes !
The food comes on time, the drivers and phone staff are always super friendly
