Loco Mensa

Every time we visit London, we dine at Locale. We always leave saying how delicious, fresh, light, and tasty this cuisine is.... Thanks to the chef, we enjoyed the: Bruschetta, Burrata, Caesar Salad, Carbonara, and Lasagna. Service i always dependable and quick. Ruth was attentive and friendly too (we visited 4 lunch twice). Will return on next visit!

A very busy but great place to be just behind the London Eye! I have been there many times and never disappointed! Very good and large wine section, amazing cocktails also always nice and fresh meals. Staff always very attentive and the service is so quick. If you’re around and never been there go and try! Definitely recommend this place to everyone. For a quick cocktail, quick bite or for a nice dinner :)

Food was good, albeit quixotic. We both ordered the steak option, which was delivered medium-rare, as asked. But lite on salt, and served with - a lemon-slice? Also appearing on the plate were potatoes- good - and - baked tomatoes? Service was so-so. We had to ask for salt; she never came around to ck on us. And for a $100 dinner for two, one could hope for tablecloth and napkins. We got the paper kind.

We had a lovely time at Locale. It is the third time we’ve been here since we moved to London. The garlic bread with mozzarella was some of the most delicious herbiness i’ve ever tasted. I then had the ravioli with butter and sage and it was a great portion size and delicious filling. The chocolate fondant cake was delicious and it said it was a 20 min wait but it came in like 15 mins which was great. It was a bit dry and came with some mascarpone but the brit in me probably would’ve preferred it with some ice cream. It was runny and delicious in the middle. All in all great quick service and delicious food.

Absolutely fab meal! Service was very quick and we were in and out within an hour but didn’t feel rushed at all. Ruth was very attentive and the moment we were done with our drinks she was offering top ups. Food was delicious, especially the seafood pasta which included incredibly generous amounts of seafood. Overall one of the best meals I’ve had at this price point.
