Fish was real nice and so are the staff. Looks like a family owned business so they take pride in their food. Fresh chips the fish i dont think was fresh but I could tell it hadn't been sitting there for ages. The decor in the shop is quite dated but the fascinating posters\pictures of the various types of fish and Whales kept me entertained whilst I waited for my meal.

Fantastic, fresh crispy and the same experience everytime I wait for 10 minutes. Dont add salt and vinegar till you get home and ask for the fish to be wrapped separately. Superb and very tasty indeed. I'd recommend George's Fish shop any day of the week because he is reasonably priced the fish is s Good size and more than anything he beats most of the chip shops around and if you know me locally you know how fussy I am with my food. Make sure you go In and order and have it freshly cooked it's well worth the 10 minute wait. Enjoy everyone...
