🚇 Warwick Avenue 🍺 £6.25 Paulaner ❤️ A charming traditional mews boozer. . The Warwick Castle is located at the end of pretty row of shops on a secluded open mews in Little Venice. The nearest Tube station is Warwick Avenue, it’s an enjoyable four minute walk to get here. The Warwick Castle is Grade II listed and was built in 1846 then rebuilt in 1867. The pub, Warwick Place and Warwick Avenue are all named after Jane Warwick, the bride of the original landowner. This is a two room pub with a cosy and traditional feel. The main bar is clad in wood panelling with a complimenting detailed fireplace. The solid timber servery is a good size and has ornate back bar. The seating is a mix of low level furniture plus stools around the bar. Off the main bar is a small dining area with wainscoting and a marble fireplace. There are some stunning features here, the Victorian clocks, Bass mirrors, etched glass windows and the colourful leaded stained glass entrances. In the warmer months, the seating outside is a great place to spend an afternoon. The beer line up was impressive, there was a good combination of continental and cask beers. One of my favourite pints is Paulaner, so my decision was easy. I really enjoyed my pint, price point was about average. There is a traditional pub grub menu available, Fish & Chips cost £17.20, Roasts are available on a Sunday. We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday, the pub was packed with local punters and a few visitors to the area. There was a nice buzz about the place with a welcoming local feel. The service was good, we didn’t have to wait long to be served and the staff were all smiles. There are a few TV’s showing live sport, we managed to catch a bit of the Rugby World Cup. If you fancy testing your general knowledge skills, the pub hosts a weekly quiz. We absolutely loved our time here, this pub charmed the pants off us. The setting is wonderful, the decor and original features are marvellous and the beer was great too. I don’t like to use the phrase “Hidden Gem” but this one truly is. Super lovely pub and great cheerful friendly staff. You can walk in for Sunday lunch if there are no online bookings left. The food was really great - best pub roast I’ve had in a long time; decent prices and excellent portion sizes for London too. Delicious pork with crackling, crisp roasties and nice veg - some not quite in season (eg red cabbage) but that’s me being picky. Still beautifully cooked and plenty of gravy too. Will be back - thank you!

A lovely little pub in a quiet nondescript little street just north of Paddington Station. The staff were lovely: cheerful and just looked happy to be there. The outside of the pub is just wonderful with a range of very large flower baskets hanging from the walls and spilling these wonders to provide a beautiful welcome. The bar itself is not large (but does have a fireplace - not sure if it's used, but it looks good). A couple of smaller rooms off the bar that provides more seating. The food menu was not big, but from what I saw, it looked pretty delicious. Outside the front there are a number of tables in front of the frosted glass windows that let you further enjoy the floral display. The Guinness was excellent as was the Timothy Taylor Landlord

Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught was excellent. The staff were attentive, efficient and nice! There's no garden at the back, but there are some tables on the pavement in the front. Very little traffic in this side street, so noise and fumes are not a problem. A short walk from Warwick Avenue tube station which is on the Bakerloo Line and one stop from Paddington, with its main railway lines and fast (and cool with its a/c!) Elizabeth Line.

Cosy, old-fashioned haunt with fireplace for the winter months, sunlit windows for summer days and board games for cheeky weeknight sessions. Dished up a cracking Scotch egg, paired however with some very sad sweet potato 'chips' which I am attempting to blot out of memory while writing this by banging my head repetitively against a brick wall, washed down with a refreshing ale or three.

The pub has a good selection of beers and vintage, authentic interior. Not touristy. Good spot just off Little Venice.

Excellent! Such a lovely pub, will certainly return here again. We visited the place for a Sunday brunch, ate the weekend specials vegetarian Wellington and a chicken roast. Decent food and friendly staff. The only disappointing thing was that even though we booked our table in advance, we were seated in a tiny corner table next to the toilet :( Otherwise, the place is a stunning old pub with wooden interior and vintage paintings, a truly enjoyable place to be!

Came for Sunday lunch. We ordered the roast beef and some sides. Beef was a bit rubbery for me but otherwise ok. Liked the pub though with all the board games. Nice atmosphere.

One of my favorite places in London to just have a beer and eat some good old-fashioned fish and chips. it's a bit hidden, in a quiet of part of town, but the staff is just absolutely golden, really friendly, the food is delicious, the crowd is very pleasant and overall one of my favorite places to go on the weekend to just have a cold one. it is the place to be for sure.
