My friend and I got a full body massage and a de stress one this evening. It was absolutely divine! I’ve been to bamford before for facials and this place always leaves me at such peace and with an elevated spirit at the same time. It’s absolutely pristine - all the towels, bath robes, slippers are so soft and comfortable. The design is very neutral and very pleasing to the eye, it immediately relaxes you. Everyone at bamford makes you feel so welcome as soon as you walk in. The therapists are absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to be back!

I have had the privilege of visiting a few of the Bamford spa's and I must admit, my experience last week in South Kensington really stood out. From the warm welcome by the staff, to the cleanliness and professionalism of not only the team but the premises, impeccable service, everything was just outstanding. My wife and I booked simultaneous massages here while on our babymoon after finding it on a list of "best pregnancy massages in London". We picked it simply because it had times that worked with our schedule and availability to book two at the same time (in separate rooms, though they were quick to respond when we inquired about a couple's massage; they were renovating their double room so it wasn't available). It was also within our desired budget for splurging on something like this: 130 pounds each for 1 hour sessions. The other spas we considered but didn't have availability on the day we wanted were Masaj (both locations) and The Retreat at The Londoner. We both enjoyed our sessions, her with Diedra and me with Yuri. Being my first professional massage, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Yuri calmly guided me through the process for the full-body massage, roughly as follows: in adjoining bathroom, fully undress and put on bathrobe, then join Yuri to select a scented oil (chamomile, lavender, among others) and talk through pressure level, get up on the massage chair face down and cover with towel (Yuri left the room briefly for privacy), ~30 minutes of full body massage on back bottom and upper leg muscles and back, then flip to face upward on table (while covered by towel) for ~30 minutes of feet, front of upper and bottom leg muscles, arms, chest/shoulders, and head. Yuri then left the room while I redressed and exited to the store upstairs. Water and tea offered before and after. Overall, a great experience and recommended.

I was a bit hesitant at first as a man who doesn’t really visit spas much, but I must say that Yuri the Japanese girl did an amazing job with my facial treatment, she’s a very knowledgeable therapist who puts in a lot of personalised effort and care. I got some compliments about my youthful skin afterwards and could already notice some improvement even after just one session. The other staff members like Dimitra were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall a relaxing experience, I enjoyed the ambience as well.

I have always been impressed with this spa from my very first visit. The shop and products are lovely, I love the light decor and the spa is a truly relaxing and healing sanctuary. The treatments are outstanding and the therapists are exceptional, the way that they greet you and how they do their treatments is just wonderful. My experiences have been profound and healing.
