Well Kneaded

I love this local spot so much. They have a nice atmosphere and most importantly, they make really good pizza. I’m leaving a review because I visited again recently and they went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I had a great experience. One of our pizzas came out with the crust a bit burnt - this wasn’t a big deal for us, it was still delicious. However the chef took the initiative to remake and replace the pizza and sent us home with the original pizza in a box for leftovers. Some restaurants claim to value customer feedback but Well Kneaded truly walks the walk. They really do care about delivering high quality meals. Highly recommend if you’re in SW London!

I love everything about Well Kneaded! Amazing pizza (and we're pizza-snobs), the special Calzone was SO good. The concept, using local ingredients and producers. The little garden in the back is very atmospheric. The people are really nice. And the half-price wednesday special was a great surprise! We'll be back!!

I would have loved to have given five stars because I loved a lot about this place. The service was excellent, and fast, and I love the use of purely local and seasonal produce. However, there are definitely some improvements to be made, which I do not doubt this team is more than capable of. The ‘garlic bread’ was almost raw, and basically just undercooked pizza dough with some garlic oil which didn’t taste of anything. I feel some actual garlic and parsley would really go a long way to improve this. The vegan special was received really well apart from the amount of oil- far too much. And it also came out absolutely covered with an abundance of red cabbage which wasn’t listed on the menu. Luckily, the customer liked this addition, but for allergies or personal preference I feel this should have been made clear beforehand- if someone couldn’t have/liked this it would have been a waste of time for both parties. Unfortunately the plain vegan option was just that- plain. The oregano was nowhere to be found, and there was minimal fresh basil. The tomato sauce was tasteless, and the dough was swimming with oil- the whole plate was a puddle. With some more seasoning and fresh tomato, and significantly less oil this could be a good dish. I really want this place to do well, and I think with a few tweaks it could be really fantastic- hence the 4 stars. At the moment, I wouldn’t return for the vegan option, however my partner would potentially return for the vegan special if it was less oily. I would be happy to recommend this pizzeria once these minor changes were implemented.

Bridget and Lawrence lead this tasty and inspirational social enterprise with vim and vigour. Their recent tasting menu was a tour de force of subtle flavours and unexpected combinations (menu in pictures below). The atmosphere is funky but friendly. In a fragile and fissiparous restaurant scene, this place is a core part of the Earlsfield community: well needed.

Amazing pizza, perfect crust, fresh and local toppings (some of the veg are from the local allotment), friendly service. Not many options for pizza which I prefer because you know the ingredients are fresh and good quality. On Wednesday if you dine in there’s a special half off food if you spend £15 or more per person. Outside seatings and dog friendly in the garden.
