Good customer service. Could do with a bit more friendliness. A smile and with the service won't go a miss.
Food was Thai. It was excellent. Full of flavour. It was a little expensive, though.
Down fall is the dining area. The last table at the end of the pub near the beer garden was an awful place to sit. It was opposite the mens toilets. It smelt rotten, and every time the door swang open a strong smell of man pee flood the seating area. It was awful. 🤢

That's awesome of thai food coz's Pim thai kitchen at the old city arms move to duke of cornwall. I really love it. All dish is handmade cook with fresh food.

I enjoyed the Thai food at this pub. It is unusually good, authentic, worthwhile and pretty amazing for a pub.
Don't let the atmosphere or decor put you off..push through and grab a seat and try the thai menu. It is great.
The service could be better, maybe a smile or a warm hello but that is not the style here nor the customer profile.
The drinks are neither here nor there. It os oretrt standard. The thai food though is great

Thank you very much for looking after 20 of us so well yesterday. We had a great party, the staff were absolutely lovely and the Thai nibbles delicious. See you again next year xx

This is - and always has been - quite a traditional pub; a boozer, if you will. Plenty of beer choices. But it has been spruced up and made to look way more appealing inside, and there are multiple screens for the sport if you wish. And the Thai food is actually exceptional.

Looking for somewhere to eat prior to a show at the Apollo came across this place. Thai food, yes please. Cut to the chase, great food at a great price, sharing platter, two mains, two cokes and change out of £30. Brilliant. And after the show... beer. Came out around 1am with bit of a wobble on. Loved the St Austell "Tribute". Thoroughly recommended.
