As an Irish person who has spent their life savoring the seafood along the rugged western seaboard of Ireland, dining at this exceptional Portuguese seafood restaurant was a delight. Family-run, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere and the staff exuded genuine hospitality. Their passion for seafood was evident from the moment I sat down. I ordered the grilled cod topped with olive oil, garlic and onions - served with potatoes (Bacalhau A Lagareiro). The cod was expertly cooked, tender and flaky. It was also very reasonably priced for a main course in central London, which was an added bonus. The wine list featured an array of Portuguese selections and the knowledgeable staff helped me pair the perfect bottle with my meal. I strongly recommend it to anyone in search of a great dining experience in the heart of London. Pinto’s Portugal Tapas Bar & Restaurant is very authentic and well with a visit!

My absolute favourite Portuguese Tapas restaurant in London, run by the same Portuguese family for the last 16 years or so and the fact that it's full of Portuguese people every single time I go there should tell you all you need to know about how authentic it is! The menu is small, which is perfect for us, but full of tasty, well thought out and very reasonably priced dishes, both tapas and mains, that the chef has obviously perfected over many years! They do have a large TV in the main food area showing Portuguese TV or Football, depending if any Portuguese team are playing that is, and if that is a put off, then perhaps this restaurant is not for you, however, if you are in the mood for a relaxed, tasty and reasonably priced tapas meal, you can't go wrong here...Highly Recommended....

An authentic place in London. You won't find places like these so easily. It feels you are transported into a small town in the Portuguese countryside. Excellent, high quality homemade food, excellent prices and huge dishes. Service is quite slow so bare in mind you have to wait for some time after you order your food. What's better than a 'maniana' rhythm to feel you escaped from the city?
