Beautiful traditional London pub that feels its at the heart of the community. Was served by Shana today and the service and welcome was amazing. Warm and genuine and will definitely come back!

Really loved the food here, especially how they served the burgers in a closed glass container like the rose in beauty at the beast. When you open it all the steam comes out, it's quite a site and really not your every day pub food. The sides were huge and tasted incredible. I recommend the onion rings.

I like to enjoy a smoked Burger with a local Pale Ale in this place everytime I visit London. Sweet potato fries are very good and their onion rings are just fabulous.

Great traditional pub. We saw a comedy show upstairs which was great and had a few drinks downstairs after. Even had a little dance when they clear part of the pub later on for the disco!

A good old boozer, a bit shabby chic and a bit worn on the corners but honest and welcoming. The beer tastes good, although not one for the real ale drinkers. Everything is on keg. Still a solid street corner pub sporting a central island bar. A pleasant oasis from the turmoil of busy streetlife.

I really like this pub for the atmosphere - it's hard to leave without having met someone. It's great for people going for a drink on their own. Their staff has been consistently friendly and nice too, plus efficient. The music in the background has been consistently very good too for anyone into rock and alternative music. Prices are relatively high though (maybe justified by the late closure) and the men's toilet is dirty and basic, plus the smell inside can be of damp, and somewhere decrepit.

Nachos too spicy and wet. We had to ask for a fork.
They didn't clean the table, just picked all the previous glasses.
To order food you have to go to the other side bar.
