The Hamlet

I decided to have my big birthday here and it was great. Elsa was very accommodating and helpful and she was able to provide the decorations as well. If you are looking for a venue with not alot of guests this is the spot. Everyone had a great time and all of the staff were super helpful. Would definitely book this venue again.

A little Gem, in Streatham. Atmosphere had been fantastic, they greeting us as soon as walked in. I had table booking via phone. Claudio gave to us an overall experience. Polite guy, friendly also Great Bartender, he made a superb Bloody Mary. The Chef cooked a nice steak! The Hamlet it's fabulous a nice environment, I personally love the lay out, and all the decorations, super comfy seats, nice area dining, and Good location too very easy to reach,like fews mins walk from Streatham Hill Station. Don't miss it. It deserves more than one visit, as their food menu it's fabulous, lots of options, especially during the week. My next would be Sunday Roast! Great Choices of Cocktails.

Service was impeccable. The waiter just had a sixth sense and would come over to ask if I needed anything before I could call him over. The food was amazing. A bit pricey but it was worth it as it was delicious and a great portion size. The bar staff were very helpful in explaining cocktails and making mocktails to match. They had live music (guy with guitar) who was a wonderful singer and played an array of music from pop to bossanova and romantic French songs. Decor is beautiful and peaceful. Really impressed with this restaurant.

Amazing venue! Perfect size for the 70 people I invited. Staff were very accommodating and the decoration they provided at extra cost was perfect. Party is in a low ceiling basement so made it feel more intimate. There was an entrance for the guest on one side of the venue and another entrance on the other side leading to the toilets which was convenient. They provided a coat stand for guests at the back of the room and moved furniture out the room to create more space. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside, upstairs for the smokers. Prices for drinks were a little pricey considering it's Streatham and would have love for the party to of gone on for longer than 2am but overall the party was amazing, I cannot complain. I had an all white party and I was the only one wearing red so you can set your own theme. They kept my cake in a fridge for me until it was ready to be brought out. I hired my own DJ and DJ equipment although they can provide that for you. Oh and after having one too many drinks, I accidentally left all my cards and gifts but they held onto them for me until I was ready to pick them up. Well worth every penny and not overpriced at all. Good location and easy to find. Everyone had a fab time. Would recommend 👌🏽
