Dog & Fox

This Sunday, we were back again to the familiar excellent service and great atmosphere. The renovations have definitely lifted the airy atmosphere inside, and the new head chef has definitely taken the food to the next level. The pork roast was delicious, and hearty. Get extra gravy as it's simply delicious. Service was easily as good, and better than, most of the top tier, celebrated restaurants I've reviewed around the world. Scampi was great, winner there was the tartar sauce which I almost wish I doggy bagged.

Truly exceptional stay at The Dog and Fox. Every one of the many staff we interacted with were helpful, warm and engaging. However they are picking their staff it's clearly working. The food was exceptional. We could taste every flavour and the bavette steaks were cooked to perfection. The room was tastefully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, smooth as silk, delightful stay in Wimbledon then The Dog and Fox is the place to go.

Lovely stay in Wimbledon. Josh at reception was very welcoming and check in was a smooth experience. Room itself was very clean and comfortable with ice cold drinks in the mini bar and selection of snacks available. Local vanilla fudge was lovely. Comfortable bed, great shower and breakfast (full English) was fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great stay!

Had a great recent stay at the Dog and Fox. Room was spacious, clean and really well equipped, and bed was super comfy. Great location too. I did have an issue with the Wi-Fi (kept dropping signal) which unfortunately ended up costing me all my data use. Found all the staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again

We have just stayed at the Dog & Fox for 3 nights. We have had a wonderful stay. The bedroom No:5 I can highly recommend. It was very clean and spacious. The bathroom products were beautiful, the mini bar was overflowing as was the snacks. The bed was so comfortable, in fact my husband slept until 9:00am, which is unheard of. The view of the village was nice as well as hearing the horses in a morning from the nearby stables. A lovely Nespresso coffee to start the day before a leisurely breakfast in the bar. The breakfasts were lovely, I especially liked the sourdough, avocado and poached eggs. The managers, Nikki & Duncan were warm Northerners and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Arik, who served us breakfast was fun, and again, nothing was too much trouble. We managed to watch the ladies final, the staff worked so hard, but appeared to have fun whilst doing so. The turn around after the game back to a lovely Dining area was some transformation. We thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine in the sun, before we had to return home. I can highly recommend The Dog & Fox. Well done Nikki & Duncan, you have a place I will be returning too.

We were served by Lenny M and Ellie who provided fantastic service and great food. A perfect Sunday afternoon spent watching the women’s World Cup final and enjoying a meal. Thank you as well to new managers Nikki and Duncan who made sure they found us a table even though the pub was busy. Will be returning again soon! Daisy & Shaun
