Chicken Shop

I was very pleasantly surprised! Lovely and professional staff, cosy seating. I like the fact that their burgers have a 'not so dirty' (healthier option) with no butter steamed buns. The lunchtime deal gets you chips just for £1 and complimentary water. I like the quirky way the food is served. The only downside is that it opens at 12 and giving you no option for a brunch.

my husband and I ordered Chicken Shop and it had clearly been on the rotisserie all day. The skin was black and inedible on all of the bird, the breast could not be bitten into, the leg meat was dry. We emailed Deliveroo immediately (no response) then emailed chicken shop (no response). this was the second time in the summer holidays that we were delivered inedible food and the second time we have had zero response from the restaurant. We used to love this take away but have looked elsewhere since

this was my first time at this Dirty Burger and the £10 daytime menu for a burger ,fries and a drink seemed good value. However right from the start the waitress was pretty rude, not the slightest bit engaged and there wasn't a smile to be had. The food was actually pretty good but when the bill arrived it wasn't for £10 at all it was £11.65 ( or something like that) when I queried this I was told it was because I had eaten in ands not had a take away. I asked where it mentioned this in the £10 deal marketing which was all over the place including this sign outside . The grumpy waitress eventually found it in tidy writing at the bottom of the menu which she said " no-one can read this" she is not wrong. so a pretty poor experience. If Dirty Burger are going to charge nearly £12 for this meal just be honest about it. don't be sneaky..DB sort this out. I won't be returning ...

It was the first time this restaurant with my wife for the first time and it was an average experience as the staff were your usual wair for the shift to end kind of vibe which you could understand as when we visited it was extremely warm out. We ordered our food and after about waiting 5 minutes we was told by the waitress we would have to wait another 10 minutes and given a complimentary dish of chicken bites which were delicious but overall its quite a dull atmosphere and seems very cramped if you decide to sit along thr back of the restaurant as you find yourself face to face with the opposite table whilst eating

Food. Really good. Burgers are great. Staff (at least who was serving my table) a young lady with very noticeable dyed hair. Awful. Didn’t crack a single smile the entire time. Seemed very uninterested with all her customers and made the hole experience very awkward for me and my friends. Maybe they’re just having a bad bad day but none the less a smile wouldn’t have hurt. Such a shame because I would eat there again in a second if I wasn’t worried the service was going to be like that.
