Shish

We accidentally found this restaurant when going to the cinema this evening. The waiter and waitress were very polite and explained the menu could be adapted for our children. The food was excellent, the children loved the chicken shish with the yogurt mint sauce. All wrapped up with a reasonable bill for the quality of food and service with some complimentary Turkish delight.

Although not much to sit in, this restaurant is great to get yourself a quick takeaway. The kebab is excellent, better than what you can get in most places in London and comparable to the doner kebab sold in Germany. Not cheap but worth the price. The meat is juicy but not greasy, just crunchy enough to taste excellent. The combination of rice and bread if you get a large combo is an acquired taste but nothing really worth mentioning. The only drawback (and the reason for 4 stars) is the lack of card payment. You will need to get cash from an ATM around the corner.

I should say that it's a quite nice restaurant. Clean and tidy. It's possible to have meal at the restaurant or just have a take away. Though I should say that the music theme should be changed there. Something a bit these days, not 80-90s. Food is really good and didn't needed to wait for it long. There's a lot to choose from because the menu is quite big. And I have to say - the staff is really cool and friendly.

If I have to be honest when I enter there I was having no expectations at all but the service and the food they provided would definitely make me a regular customer when I go nearby. That chicken dunner I had was amazing. Lots and lots of chicken which has absolute taste of actual chicken. The salads and the sauces - fab!
