Home from home pub. Do you want a traditional local pub when you are in London. If you're near Paddington this is it.
This is where the locals drink. It's old school. It's great. Left with a gurt big west country smile on my face.

Well, it's been a couple of years since my last review so this old bird and her daughter-in-law made a rare trek to Church Street for net curtains. As we walked past, i thought the pub was shut but no, it was firing on all cylinders and they couldn't have done enough for us. We had a great bit of craic with the landlady and a right laugh with the other punters. My houseproud daughter in law was impressed by how super clean the ladies was. We won't leave it so long the next time.....

I genuinely don't write reviews (this is probably my first one) but this bar is the epitome of an authentic, warm, friendly British pub. The owners and locals are ridiculously friendly and instantly became my favorite place to unwind and relax. If you ever get the chance to visit, come into this bar with an open, respectful manner and you will come out wishing you could give more. I cannot stress how wonderful the pub and people are. 11/10
