A great traditional City pub with the added advantage of having a team that makes punters actually feel welcome. Decent beer too!!

Proper old-fashioned pub in the city with very friendly staff. Like many city pubs, they can close early, but I was there with a relatively small group and they stayed open for another round for us.

What a gem. I can't believe I've not found this pub before! It's my perfect place, a proper pub with absolutely lovely staff, but along with that, a more diverse clientele than I expected. Fabulous! I'll be back

Really nice food and big portions. Quite small so nice for a quieter gathering if you get there early for lunch that is as starts getting busier 12.30-1pm
