What a fantastic accidental find. Hidden away in plain sight, a charming, warm, gentle atmosphere. A cosy nook to chill, work or chat. The team at Benk&Bo are very creative and has managed to curate a great environment with super-friendly staff. After stumbling upon this place last week, I learned that Benk&Bo is coming to an end as we know it. I hope that whatever replaces it can retain the friendly, warm atmosphere and a quiet sense of community. There are few places I can concentrate and work whilst enjoying great coffee. The perfect combination of work and life, highlighted by the translated name Benk&Bo - "Workbench & A place to live". I wish the fantastic owners the best of luck, and I hope the new owners can harness what you have worked so hard to create.

Excellent venue that is beautifully designed throughout -- great mid century furniture mixed with modernist touches -- so much so I wish half this stuff was in my house. Brilliant wine list full of very decent value. And the jazz night was excellent, will be returning a lot to work, drink, and dance.

This place is perfect to get some work done, study, or chat with a friend. It has two floors which has different vibes. It's away from the high streets and feels like a little getaway nook in the city. One of my favourite things is that they encourage co-working here. You won't feel pressured like other coffee shops in the city to get out. I really wanted to give them a 4/5 just because they forgot my food order and I had to remind them and wait another 20 mins. BUT WAIT, they not only apologised but also gave me a coffee and a pastry on the house. Considering that they’re a new business and still getting their bearings I have to say this is easily ignored by their friendliness and space. I have hearted the location and will share with friends and family to come.

Absolutely delightful - been meaning to visit for years but difficult as not open on weekends. Beautiful decor, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff... but more importantly, delicious oat flat whites. We also ate the Moroccan soup which had a lovely deep flavour and the autumnal veg bowl with dill dumplings which was divine!!
