Mirch Masala

I’m just waiting here for my favourite dish, fish tikka masala, garlic naan and plain rice. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and still love it as ever. The tandoori dishes are delicious and the curries to die for. Just came back from India and Mirch Masala is so far the only restaurant that measures up! Although it’s a Pakistani cuisine :)

This norbury branch of the mirch masala has suffered many issues over the last few years from having health inspectors almost close the place down to poor service, but now they seem to have really turned things around. We went to check it out and the place looks good, the kitchen areas look nice and clean, the toilets however are pretty filthy. The service seems to have improved greatly and the food was delicious.

Mirch Masala has had some work done to update it and it looks lovely. We went on a week day for lunch expecting to do the buffet only to find that they no longer offer this-such a shame. So we to ordered from the menu and the food was delicious and the portion size was decent as usual. We would definitely go back.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant. The food had a Authentic, Pakistani taste which made my mouth water with delight. I especially recommend the mixed grill, which has unique flavours leaving a memorable taste in my mouth. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is always clean. I defiantly recommend this to all food lovers around London.

Good food at reasonable price. The menu is different to a conventional Indian so you are a little in the dark when ordering, but the food is good and in large quantities when it arrives. The onion bhaji, unusual as it comes as a mass of strands of battered onion, is totally delicious. I had a mango lassi on my last visit and it was also very good. The only downside is that it is cash only.
