Stumbled upon this place when we were trying to fulfil a sweet tooth craving. After much indecisiveness, we settled on a couple of the homemade waffles - possibly the biggest waffle/ice cream stack I’ve ever laid my eyes on. They were fantastic and really delicious - and a steal for the price (£4.50). We then continued to nurse our sugar comas for a while after, not realising that the cafe had already been closed for an hour. The lovely waitresses left us to our own devices and didn’t once ask us to leave. Definitely coming back :)

It was a colleague's birthday and I ordered some cupcakes to bring into work. I ordered them the night before and they were freshly made first thing the next morning, ready for me to pick up. The lady I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. Everyone LOVED the cakes - they looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommended.

I'm a little surprised by the recent negative reviews as I've always had quick, polite service here. I reckon I must have been lucky but no unreasonable waiting whenever I've been, whether it's for a coffee or for lunch. Great selection of cakes and treats too.
