Village Pizzeria

Italian restaurants and recipes online always attract the plastic Italian brigade, keen to demonstrate that they know exactly the right kind of cured meat should go in a carbonara or the authentic toppings of a pizza. When it comes to a place like this, those people are to be ignored. It's a solid local restaurant. The service is good, the pizzas are decent, the pasta is simple and tasty, and our children love it.

This is an excellent restaurant. It is good value for money and the food is of a very good standard. All the staff and the owner are welcoming and always with a friendly smile. Good customer service. I have recommended this restaurant to my friends and brought them here and they were not disappointed!

Great service from the Village Pizzeria. Had the Calamari and cheesy garlic bread to start. Calamari was sodt and not over cooked and the tatar sauce was well made. Seasoning on the calamari was nice as well. The garlic bread was nice, not too greasy and a very nice size to share between 2 or 3. The seafood risotto was well made and not stingy on the seafood. One bit of overcooked squid but considering that there wasn't a problem with anything else it's easily forgivable. The spaghetti carbonara was lovely and rich and creamy with a very nice portion. Zero problems with that and definitely one to try. The prawn linguine was nice and again they weren't stingy with the prawns. The Margherita pizza was well made and you can see they put extra care into making the dough and toppings. For dessert the strawberry gelato was all that you could want from it and tasted loads of strawberries. The chocolate fudge cake was rich and melt and a lovely way to end the evening. Such a shame we couldn't get the profiteroles. Overall a lovely family experience and will definitely come back 😁👍🏻
