Artisans Of Sardinia

I visited with a friend. Massimo and his French friend made us feel incredibly welcome, chatting with us about the food and the ethos of the restaurant. We split two pasta and gnocchi dishes between us. Both very tasty and surprisingly light. The sebadas was absolutely delicious. Will definitely make a return visit.

What can I say, if you are a lover of great food and amazing wine then you need to visit Artisans of Sardinia. From the moment we entered we were greeted by Massimo, and straight away we could see the passion he has for not only his food but also for his delicious wine. You can see the attention to detail in every dish that is served and the Octopus is the best I have ever eaten by far, this was followed by the suckling piglet which was out of this world, it literally melted in our mouths. We only wish we had discovered this gem of a restaurant sooner. Thanks again for an amazing evening Massimo, we will be back soon.

Artisan of Sardinia is a true outstanding Sardinian culinary experience in Putney where you only get the best of ingredients, quality food, ambiance and wines. Massimo (the owner and also chef) is a humble connoisseurs who likes establishing a culinary and wines connection with any one walking into his restaurant in order to deliver the “bespoken best!” I really recommend this place.

Myself and my girlfriend had a wonderful dinner at Artisans of Sardinia. The service is 10 out of 10 , ambience is very relaxed and friendly with cozy seating and beautiful decors . Food wise : one of the best octopus I’ve ever had .. cooked to perfection ! We also tried the burrata with roasted pumpkin . Another incredible and freshly made in house Is the gnocchi with lamb ragù and tagliatelle with slow cooked duck and crispy pecorino😋. They also have a very selection of Sardinia wines . A must visit spot in London guys ! Great location , great service and super food .

I had an absolute wonderful dinner there last night with my girlfriend. From start to finish the food and service was brilliant. The owner Massimo greeted us on arrival and had a great conversation with us and made us feel very welcome. Our waiter Giuseppe was so attentive and knowledgeable throughout about all the dishes and the wine list. Every dish we had was absolutely beautiful, in particular the octopus dish and the handmade pasta in our mains. There was so much flavour in every dish that all worked very well together. Overall it was a brilliant experience, superb food and I will 100% come back again and again.

Our second time here, an exceptional experience. The owner took incredible care of us and the food was to match. If you're in the mood for Italian, more specifically Sardinian cuisine, this is near as elevated as it gets. The passion and love for Sardinia reverberates in every sinew of food on the menu, and it shows. We asked the owner to take control of the menu and it was an absolute treat. The scallop starter was a delightful balance between the briny, savoury, and fresh. The on the day special of burrata with Sardinian ham is just as incredible as you imagined it. The squid ink pasta is a celebration of the seaside. And to top it, the pork cheeks with a joux reduction was one of the best I've had in the country. This has been an incredibly reductive review of the restaurant we just went to, the fact of the matter is we were taken care of so incredibly well, and we cannot wait to go back. The pictures attached do not do the experience justice, easily the best restaurant in the Putney area.

Artisans of Sardinia is a very special restaurant- the food, atmosphere and level of service are outstanding. The restaurant feels intimate and Massimo and his staff really look after you. Massimo takes such care with the menu, varying it with the seasons. He will also create bespoke set menus for groups in his private room (which seats 8) - a service I have used several times, had amazing evenings and sublime food and wine pairings. It’s also a lovely place to go for lunch. I would say it’s the best place to eat in Putney by a long stretch!
