Three Uncles

I went to the restaurant in St Paul's today as it was 50% for their opening weekend. I queued because of that but it was worth it. Honestly, the staff really made the experience too. They were super friendly and so aware that people were queuing so were working so hard to make sure everybody was served quickly. At half off the amount of food for the price was insane, but even at full price it is great value for the quality you are getting. The portions are well sized and you aren't waiting long after ordering but everything tastes fresh. Would highly recommend.

Hidden is a quiet alley, this is a place for some chill and homey HK delicacies with a small number of seats available. Chilli is mild and sweet which caters more to the local pallette. Hainanese chicken rice seems juicy and succulent enough for me to pay another visit. Got the roasted pork rice combo, satisfied my craving. Good stuff.

The environment is really nice and clean. We went for the two meat combo ones, we got one with Haiana chicken + roasted duck and another one with Crispy pork belly + roasted duck. The chicken is quite light flavour and juicy which I think it's very lovely. The roasted duck is amazingly flavourful, brought me back to Asia immediately after having a bite!! The crispy pork belly is the main spotlight in the whole meal, I'd say. The flavor is like, Oh My God, kind of reaction!!! So special and tasted delicious 😍 The sauce mixed with rice made the whole meal so perfect. The only part that I think could improve is that perhaps adding more pieces of vegetables to balance out the meat and rice! Overall, it's great! Me and my partner enjoyed our meal!

Had the 2 meat combo with extra sauce. I would highly recommend the ginger sauce, it goes well with the rice. I wished portion size was bigger though. The rice was perfect texture with soy sauce mixed in, I really enjoyed it a lot. Meat was fresh and nicely prepared, however it was a little cold when I started eating because I did a takeaway. This is a great place to get Cantonese food.

I got noodles with crispy pork belly and bbq duck for £13.25. Delicious but not exceptional. Both meats were juicy and flavourful, and the pork belly had a nice crispy outer layer. The noodles had a perfect texture, but they were a bit sweeter than I preferred. Friendly and fast service. Spacious dining area

As cha siu lover I came to try this place after read so many good reviews. I had a late lunch with a 3 meats combo and pork and prawns siu mai. The food is really good! I really enjoyed the cha siu and the roasted duck. The pork belly was a bit hard but still good if dipped in the plum sauce or the spicy sauce. The service is simple and very straight, not so friendly (I’m Asian too), but maybe I had a wrong impression. I was a bit disappointed by the cleanliness. The table where I ate it was still wet and a bit sticky… overall if you don’t expect too much from the service and the location is a very good place to have a good satisfying Cantonese meal
