Royal Mahal

My family and I recently visited Royal Mahal Restaurant in Tooting on a weekend, and we had a wonderful time. We started with their famous Masala Fish and Chicken Wings, both of which were absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked and the masala sauce was flavorful and spicy, but not too hot. The chicken wings were also crispy and juicy, and the sauce was tangy and sweet. For our main course, we ordered the Lamb Karahi. This dish is a speciality of the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was rich and complex. We also ordered a side of naan bread to soak up all the delicious sauce. The service at Royal Mahal was also excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant became very busy very quickly. He made sure that we had everything we needed, and he even helped us choose the perfect dishes to order. We have been going to Royal Mahal for several years now, and the food quality has always been excellent. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. We highly recommend Royal Mahal to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal. From the service to the food to the atmosphere - everything was brilliant! I would 100% return and recommend to friends and family. Each staff member was lovely, especially ‘Aslam Khan’; he was incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly. It was quite busy when we went (Tuesday, around 8pm) and another member of staff kindly moved us to a quieter section of the restaurant which I really appreciated. The food was easily 10/10, everything was fresh and delicious! We ordered plenty off the menu as everything sounded nice. The price-point of each dish was really good too. Plenty of street parking available.

Great restaurant, really recommend. So many dishes and drinks to choose from and all the ones we tried were really good. Prawn dynamite, chicken balti, mixed grill and the wide selection of naans were the top favourites.Really nice service too, our waiter Salam was very welcoming and friendly. Perfect restaurant to go with the family or even alone, the decor is beautiful and food plus service matches the high quality standard.
